Paper cut Typography is also an interesting way of hand-rendering type.  The piece below is by Julene Harrison.  For my designs to keep the overall effect neat I think I will use cut out card because I don't want to be colouring in as I think it looks unprofessional.

This is just an interesting image I came across while looking for paper-cut typography.  http://ffffound.com/image/0648d1c2627de1c327cffd978eec9ce414898f6c

Some typography research/inspiration.

Some of these I found in Grafik magazine and a few others from typography books from the library, need to take note of the names!

Design Practice: Mind Map

Design Practice: Mind Map:

Stolen from Chris' page, our groups mind map of how to deal with the walk to college.

'How to deal with the walk to college'

My Blog Group and I are trying to tackle the problem that students have about walking to college, so we want to make it easier/more fun for them.  We've began looking at computer game maps and also thought about creating a board game, a bit like monopoly.

This map caught my eye more than others because of the large icons floating on the map.  While researching maps I came across this czechoslovakian map, and it's so different to ours, thought I'd share it just to show the contrast.

Some research... Check it OUTT!

This is my favourite from his collection, it must have took ages to find all these buildings!
